Premier 16 mm à usage famillial. Il a connu un grand succès outre atlantique.
Il en existe de multiples variantes.
Cet exemplaire est presque complet : il ne manque que le couvercle du mécanisme et le miroir de renvoi de la lumière générée par la lampe à l’arrière.
Le mode d’entrainement des griffes est original: elle décrivent un ‘huit’ dont une portion de la petite boucle correspond à l’entraînement du film.
Un seul tambour d'entraînement est utilisé pour l’alimentation et pour la sortie du film.
Les bras se replient et l’ensemble est remarquablement compact pour un 16 mm. (la plupart des solutions seront réutilisées pour les projecteurs compacts des années 50)

First 16 mm projector for familial use. It got a big success overseas. Many versions have been produced. This unit is almost complete: is missing the cover over the mechanism and the miror to reflect the light for the lamp to the film frame.
The way to create the film motion is quite uncommon: the fork end describes an '8' and one portion of the small part of the '8' corresponds to the advance of the film.
Only a single ratchet sprocket is used for the feeding and the output of the film.
The arms can rotate for storage and the overall size is really compact for a 16 mm projector.
(Most of the solution will be reused in the 50's for the compact 8 mm projectors)
